Walacor Sponsors GMU Challenge+X Hackathon

Building the Future of Trusted Data

This Saturday marks the kickoff of Challenge X, a 10-week hackathon at George Mason University where students, entrepreneurs, and technologists will build solutions to some of today’s hardest problems. Walacor is proud to sponsor the event, bringing our vision of provable integrity to the next generation of innovators.

Every hackathon is about creativity and speed. But in today’s world, innovation must also come with trust. From fintech to AI, supply chains to national security, decisions are only as good as the data behind them. Walacor exists to ensure that data can always be trusted, traced, and verified.

Hackathon participants will explore Walacor’s platform and tools including the core data engine for immutability and lineage, the Python SDK for developers, the Data Tracker CLI for data scientists, and visualization utilities like FiVe. With these tools, teams can focus on what matters most — solving big problems — while Walacor ensures the foundation of integrity.

Over the next 10 weeks, we’re excited to see how student teams apply our platform to reimagine what trustworthy applications can look like.

At Walacor, we believe innovation and trust go hand-in-hand. That’s why we’re here, to back the builders of today who will shape the systems of tomorrow. Follow along as we share updates, highlights, and outcomes from Challenge X.

AI Memory is an Attack Surface

AI Memory Is an Attack Surface

Persistent Agent Memory Requires Provable Integrity  Artificial intelligence has memory. Agents retain task history, prior interactions, observations, documents, tool outputs, and operational context. This persistence makes agents more effective. They can build on previous information rather than reconstruct it for every task.  An agent’s context extends beyond persistent memory. Retrieval-Augmented

The Client Portal Is a Critical Trust Boundary

Establishing Integrity at the Point of Entry  A client portal looks simple from the outside. A customer uploads a document, submits an instruction, approves a transaction, opens a case, shares a record, or communicates with an organization. Behind that interaction is a critical trust boundary. The information entering through these

The Agentic Chain of Command

The Agentic Chain of Command

From Authorization to Operate to Authority to Act AI agents are already taking consequential actions across enterprise systems: accessing data, calling APIs, changing configurations, initiating transactions, communicating with customers, deploying software, and assigning work to other agents. As agents move from assisting people to acting on their behalf, traditional approaches
